Washington is the capital of the United States, is located on the East Coast, between Maryland and Virginia, commonly called the Mid Atlantic Region, the Mid-Atlantic has played an important role in the development of American culture, trade and commerce.

The central nucleus of Washington is situated between K Street and Capitol Hill. The more interesting aspects of the city are to be found in and around Pennsylvania Avenue, a wide 2.5 km long street, connects the Capitol to the White House and is the site of the annual President’s Parade.
